Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Collected Interiors ("we", "us", "our"), and govern your access to and use of our website at www.collectedinteriors.com.au (the "site") and any session you book and pay for through it.

By using the site, or by booking and paying for a session, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you are agreeing on behalf of someone else, you confirm you are authorised to do so.

Collected Interiors is a Perth residential interior design studio led by Lisa Ewart. The site lets you learn about our work, make an enquiry, and book and pay for a paid session.

Consultation: a one-hour session at your home. It is the entry point to a design engagement. We walk the space, hear your plans and work out whether we are the right fit. If we are, a proposal may follow; booking a consultation does not by itself commit either of us to a further engagement.

Pre-Start Selections: a half-day session (up to four hours) at a supplier showroom, for clients building with a project builder. Afterwards you receive a written selections schedule to hand to your builder, delivered within the week.

The price for each session is shown before you book. Prices are stated exclusive of GST; GST is added and shown to you before you pay. Prices may change over time; the price that applies to your booking is the one shown at the time you book.

To book, you complete the booking form and pay the full fee up front to confirm your session. This is a single, one-off payment, not a subscription, and we do not store your card to charge you again. Card payments are processed securely by our payment processor, Stripe, and are charged in Australian dollars.

Your booking is confirmed once payment is complete, and you will receive a confirmation email. If payment does not complete, the session is not booked.

Your payment confirms your session and secures your time, and is non-refundable. If something changes at your end, let us know as soon as you can, ideally at least 48 hours before your session, and we will do our best to move you to another available time.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other laws that cannot lawfully be excluded.

To get the most from your session, please give us accurate information and, where relevant, share your plans and your builder’s selections list. A Pre-Start Selections session works to your builder’s selections list and timeframes; your contract, deadlines and selections remain a matter between you and your builder. Our role is to guide you through the selections and deliver the written schedule. The decisions, and their implementation with your builder, are yours.

You keep ownership of any plans or documents you upload. You are responsible for having the right to share them with us, and we use them only to prepare for and deliver your session. Our handling of your information is described in the Privacy Policy.

We provide design guidance drawing on professional judgment and experience and, for a Pre-Start Selections session, a written selections schedule. We cannot guarantee a particular outcome, and any deliverables we provide are for use on your own project.

The site, including its content, look and feel, and the Collected Interiors name and branding, is owned by us and our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms grant you only a limited right to use the site; they do not transfer any of our intellectual property to you.

You agree not to: use the site unlawfully or to submit infringing, harmful, misleading or offensive content; upload malware; attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site or others’ data; probe, scan or breach security; scrape or resell the site; or use it in a way that overburdens or disrupts it.

Payments are handled by Stripe, and your payment is also subject to Stripe’s own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services.

We aim to keep the site available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we may carry out maintenance or change or pause features.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the site is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other laws that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where our liability for failing to comply with such a guarantee can be limited, it is limited to re-supplying the relevant service or paying the cost of re-supply.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with the site or a session. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to a session is limited to the amount you paid us for that session.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, Australia. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia. Nothing in this clause limits any rights you have under mandatory consumer laws in your place of residence.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here and change the "last updated" date, and where changes are material we will take reasonable steps to notify you. If you continue to use the site after the changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.
